This is David Attenborough. A 97-year-old Man Who Is Still Actively Working as a Naturalist

Who would have thought, this 97-year-old man is still productive in his work. He even has to be willing to crawl on wet grass.

David Attenborough (97) is a naturalist (natural historian) or a person who studies nature, such as animals and plants.

He is also a world-renowned British broadcaster who likes to explore how animals hear and produce sounds.

He uses advanced technology to record sounds from nature, some of which are captured on film for the first time.

For his latest Sky Nature project, Secret World Of Sound, David was involved.

David's longtime collaborator and series producer, Sharmila Choudhury, told The Climate Show that David sets the bar very high. And that's a good thing.

"I think he still works harder than most of us, usually seven days a week. When he commits to something, he gives it 100 percent," she said.

When he joined the filming team in the Wye Valley in Monmouth to capture the song of a wild dipper, he found David lying on the damp ground, hoping the little bird would appear.

"He crawled through the grass to get the best position, and he got it," Choudhury says.

To support his work, he uses some of the most advanced technology or tools James Bond uses.

"We use everything from the smallest microphone the size of your fingernail, which you can insert into a bird's nest or a beehive," Choudhury explains.
