Content creator Francis Dominic posted a video on his TikTok. He watched the tour movie at an AMC theater. The video showed him dancing and singing along in his seat during the film played.
The video also divided fans. But Dominic defended his actions. He said other viewers would "complain" if others did not behave similarly during the screening.
According to Insider, AMC allowed the act, especially for viewers of the film "Eras Tour."
"We enable dancing and singing throughout this concert film event," their statement said.
"But please do not dance in our seats or disturb other people from watching, walking safely, or exiting the auditorium."
Regarding cell phone use, their policy allows audience members to "take selfies and group photos." But forbids them from "recording concert films on our big screens."
