As a musician, he is also known to have wrote many phenomenal songs, including the famous "Bohemian Rhapsody".
Recently, Freddy's piano used to compose the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" was reportedly sold at an auction house.
As reported by Indy100, "Yamaha G2 Baby Grand Piano", sold for £1.7 million at Sotheby's Auction in London on Wednesday.
Even so, Sotheby's was expected to sold the piano for £2 or £3 million.
That piano isn't the only thing that was sold at the auction.
Several valuable properties from Freddy Mercury were also displayed and sold, like handwritten working lyrics for Bohemian Rhapsody, which sold for £1.4 million, while Mercury’s rainbow-coloured satin jacket sold for £203,200.
The auction was held after Freddy's most valuable properties were displayed in an exhibition called "Freddie Mercury: A World Of His Own".
Freddy's close friend Mary Austin, who also held ownership of the property, was surprised by the positive response and decided to auction off the valuables.
